We spread a little more love around Springfield today. FYI: The Shaw’s Plaza parking lot has been love bombed with a “Love On Earth Rock”. We’ll spread a few more around town tomorrow, but…
Here’s a photo of Oscar with the first drop of our “Love on Earth” project at the dam this afternoon, as we set off on our walk. This location is farther north from the lake compared to yesterday’s dam drop. Also, today we placed two at the dam; one here and one very nearby, but along our way to our “eagle hike” site. We didn”t see any eagles this afternoon, but we saw some tiny jumping frogs, and (because I was talking to Oscar, clearly much too loudly), as we approached the lake we startled a blue heron who took off screeching as her baby followed in pursuit. 🙂
It’s a bit of a treasure hunt there for anyone who’s interested! And, if you find any, I’d be interested to know.
PS: Oscar looks like he’s super hot and over heated in this photo, but I assure you he had just stepped out of the air conditioned car and was annoyed at the delay and wanted to just get on with his walk. Ha! 😉 🙂
