I dont claim to paint people and I wasn’t fully satisfied with my first portrait. It felt a bit stiff to me. As usual, I wanted a “looser style” of watercolor, so I once again challenged myself to achieve that. I dont think one is necessarily better than the other, but I think I prefer a softer, more impressionistic style that has a more interesting use uf color. Heres what I ended up with.
